Reporting from Wednesday the 13th ride: Bill, Folk and I did a pleasantly cool and mellow 23 km circuit near Mahasawat East, the Wat Pu and Wat Mai area. Roads are nice here now, mostly new pavement and widened, but little traffic. Just the way we like it.
Big news: ye olde wooden bridge at Wat Pu has been upgraded! Beeeyoootiful concrete and wooden construction right at the original site. Stay left when you ride it though.
You guys, never buy cheap tubes, I've had 2 flats in 2 days on brand new 50 baht tubes. Both tubes are totally kaput, since the leaks are from the valve roots (valve-tube junctions).
Let's start a WEIRD STUFF SEEN ON RIDES List (WeSSORid*, we really did!). Eventually this will lead to a Top 10, a Jay Leno spot and our 15 minutes of fame.

- 13/10/10 About 500 tons of pak dok jawa piled up in stinkin' 2 meter heaps around the Mahasawat Water Gate (eastern end of the infamous Rob's Route where RD once led us through meter deep mudholes and about 3 foot bridges). So much biomass just going to waste ;( Someone please turn it into something!
- 13/10/10 Two 18 wheel trucks fully blocking tiny Mahasawat Canal Road, with the lead vehicle in this inept convoy entangled in low hanging live electrical wires. Why were they there? What were they hauling? Will they ever get out?

Lady's Ride
Hi, :))
Thanks for coming to Lady's Ride, girls!
There were 5 of us went to Phuttamonthon Park. 2 girls were new cyclists, but they had not problem with riding bicycles.
B, Nana, and Luk Pra went to Aksa Road for faster riding aswell. Kept 23-25kmh. Let's aim that next time will be 25-27kmh average.
Tomorrow will be Novice Ride. See you guys @ MUIC ground floor, 4p.m.

Ride in the Rain?
Hi everyone! :)
I came to MUIC at 8 in the morning and still be here now. It was very hot and sunny from 9am to 11am but now it's raining.
Hope it will stop but let's see the wether and the road condition first.
Today's ride is Novice Ride. If someone new but ever ride often, we can go fast.
Costs 10thb for equipments (helmet/ bike/ lights)
Meeting point: MUIC Ground floor, 4p.m.

Advanced Training Ride
Hi Everyone! :)
Im very happy that many students joined to the yesterday's ride. Including Mr.Allan and 3 club members, 13 people rode together!!! 2 Dutch students who have used bicycle for their daily life, they are very strong at constant high speed riding (28km/h)
Hope they become interested in Queen's Cup Race :D
Today's ride is Advanced ride. Try to improve or hart and endurance at 27km/h or more.
We will use Aska Road for riding today.

General(Medium)Ride
Hi everyone :)
Too cold to wake up today, don't you think? I think I got cold from the CC vice-president! He has something behind?!
Today ride is Medium ride! Up speed till get our heart is pumping. Yep, it's same as Cardio. We are thinking to go to a cannel but let's see the weather first.
From 1p.m. there is Club Expo placed @ ground floor of MUIC. We have own booth. See new promotion video of cycling club

Ride together!
Hi, everyone :)
Very glad that there were many students and teachers came to ride with us! I was quiet worry about yesterday... because this is the first time doing activity for only women. But one of the great MUIC cyclist and also great English speaker invited 2 exchange students!! Hope yesterday's ride was enjoyable for them.
Today ride is for someone who cannot come to the ride on Monday. This activity is very flexible because if there are no novice riders, we can shift up to Advanced riding or men's/women's only ride(if you want :) )
Helmet and bicycle are provided by ride leader (10THB FEE), Stretch your body well and bring a bottle of water with you :)
